Guests of the Mas Val-Chênaie are able to enjoy a continental breakfast every morning that in fine mornings can be enjoyed on the terrace by the pool and includes some of the tasty home made preserves made by Michel. Guests may also have use of the summer kitchen with its fridge freezer; microwave, coffee maker and kettle if they wish to cook there own food during their stay, guests can obtain fresh produce from the weekly market.
 
There is a swimming pool with a terraced area where guests can take advantage of the pool side furniture and work on their tan, taking dips to cool down when necessary. There is also a guest lounge that opens out to the pool which offers some comfy chairs that are ideal for sitting back in and enjoying the peace and quiet of the area.
 
Within the fenced grounds there are many beautiful corners and if you are in search of shade there is a large oak tree grove, within the grounds guests can also park their cars with no worries. Guests can also benefit from the coupled experience as they are only too pleased to share their local knowledge with you, they are happy to make arrangements and recommend and book restaurants as well as tell what is going on in the area.

Guests can enjoy the Gordes village that is perched on the southern edge of the high Plateau de Vaucluse. The stone buildings are built in tight against the base of the cliffs and those perched on the rocks above, including the 12th-century castle. Behind the village small roads lead into the rocks and valleys and forests of the Plateau de Vaucluse, with the picturesque Abbaye de Sénanque only 4 km away and this can be reached by following the many marked footpaths. As far as the activities are concerned, you can walk or go bike-riding in the surrounding woods and countryside, you will be delighted by the scenery of the Vaucluse mounts and valleys, oaks, blooming cherry trees, vineyards, spelt, sunflower or lavender fields, depending on the season. And a lot of wonderful places you can visit: Gordes, Roussillon, Oppède le Vieux, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Fontaine de Vaucluse, l'Isle sur la Sorgue, The Provencal Colorado. And a little further: Avignon (Palais des Papes and pont d'Avignon), Saint Rémy de Provence, Les Baux de Provence.
