Mas Pomona is situated just outside the small village of Cheval Blanc. At the back of the property are the Luberon mountains and to the front the River Durance, which supplies the water for the fruit and vegetables grown extensively in the area. |
Coming by Plane:
- Avignon airport: take the A7 motorway uo to Cavaillon and then follow as below.
- Nimes airport: take the A7 motorway by the airport and follow Aix en Provence after half an hour swing north onto to A7 follow Lyon and Avignon. Exit at Cavaillon Junction 26 (50 mins).
- Marseille airport: follow signs for A7 and follow Lyon and Avignon. Exit A7 at junction 26, Cavaillon (35 mins).
Pick up can be organized upon request (extra charge).
Coming by Car:
From all directions you can reach us by A7 highway up to Cavaillon exit. Once there follow as below.
From Cavaillon: as you cross the river Durance, the motorway and TGV towards Cavaillon you approach a roundabout, with a large melon on your right, turn right at the roundabout Follow this road for 2 kms until you come to another roundabout, take the second exit. After 1.5 kms turn right at the junction. Ahead of you are a set of traffic lights with a pharmacy on your right. Go straight through the lights and after 900 metres turn right into the Chemin des Fourmillieres. Your marker is a sign on your left which says "Olivon Menuisserie". Follow this road for 350 metres and turn right into Chemin de la Reale, we are the first house on the right. Welcome!
Coming by Train:
Avignon TGV is at approx. 30 kms far from Mas Pomona. Once there you can reach us by car taking the N7 in direction Cavaillon (close to Cavaillon take the A7 and then follow as above). If you come at Avignon by train but you do not hire a car you can reach us by taxi. |
