Accommodations
|
 Château de Meyrargues boasts 8 rooms and 3 suites, all decorated in lavish sytle and luxurious. They all are accessible by elevator and equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar and satellite television. Some of our best rooms also have jacuzzi tub. Set on the first floor of the Castle, each of the eleven rooms has a different decoration which evokes a page of history. We freely took as a starting point some characters who illustrate the great styles of French decoration.
The room "Marie-Antoinette" is a continuation of the style Louis XVI which mix gracefully nodes, garlands, medallions and gallant scenes. It is a suite which sleeps 4 guests (it has a double bed, a Jacuzzi tub , 2 single beds, 2 bathrooms). |
 The room "Pompadour", in the style Louis XV of Provence: taffeta and painted pieces of furniture. The porcelain lamps point out creation by Louis XV of the manufacture of Sevres. It is a standard room sleeping 2 guests in twin beds.
The "Romantic" room, with its bed decorated in crowned bronze of cherubs, its draped and its painted pieces of furniture, invites us at intimacy and timeless elegance. "Romantique" is a standard room sleeping 2 guests (king size bed). |
 The Room "Fra Angelico", surprises you by his rigour and its style. It copies the dream of the Justinien Deacon painted in 1438 by Fra Angelico whose reproduction is exposed in the room.
It is a luxury room sleeping 2 guests (king size bed). Bathtoom with Jacuzzi tub.
In the room "Mazarin" we tried to find the austere climate of the interiors at the time of Louis XIII. Here are put in scene a vast bed at twisted columns, a 4-poster bed and hangings decorated with flowers of lily and greyhounds. "Mazarin" is a luxury room sleeping up to to 3 guests with a king size bed, a single bed and bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. |
 "Laurent le Magnifique" is a luxury room sleeping 2 guests (king size bed). The Medici family find here a room furnished with a monumental bed with impressive columns which remind at the great time of the Florentine Renaissance dominated by the famous personality of an enlightened prince Lorenzo il Magnifico.
The room "Braquenier" is inspired by documents coming from this great manufacture of fabrics and tapestries dating from XVIIIth century. It is a superior room with king size bed sleeping 2 guests. |
 The Suite "Regency", blue and gold with the colors of Kings de France evokes the reign of Philippe of Orleans which educated the Louis XVth after the death of his grandfather the Sun king.
"Régence" is a suite featuring a king size bed, a single bed and a bathroom with Jacuzzi.
In the room "Eugenie de Montijo", with the exuberant decoration of style Napoleon III, we wanted to pay homage to the company of restoration of the medieval big bosses medieval under the second Empire. It is a superior room with twin beds sleeping 2 guests. |
 "Joséphine de Beauharnais", a room furnished and decorated in the Empire style which refers much to antiquity. "Joséphine" is a superior room with twin beds sleeping 2 guests.
Finally our largest suite called "Louis XVIII Compte de Provence" it is furnished in mahogany tree and lavish tapestries of Restoration style. "Comte de Provence" is a suite sleeping up to 6 guests (2 double beds, 2 single beds and bathroom with Jacuzzi tub). |
