We had trouble with our rental car and the owner were out of his way to help us; checking the car himself and making numerous phone calls to Avis. ... We were so pleased with our room and how helpful everyone was. ... The views were absolutely beautiful and the driveway is very, very steep. The quiet was appreciated after the busy towns of Provence. We will now consider staying a little out of town in the future. ... This chateau is unlike any other place I have stayed; beautiful, quiet, and service that was exceptional.

There could have been more signs as to where exactly the chateau was located. ... The room was great, spacious and comfortable, but the cleaning service could have been better---more soap--shampoo was needed and not replenished. The trash was not removed from the day before and we did have left over food in the trash, I had properly wrapped it so there wasn't a problem but it didn't present a clean feel. The bed spread was not replaced during our stay. The bed was made up but it would have been nice to see the bed completely done. The whole chateau is ready for a good makeover,(mostly the common areas) new paint, new carpets, etc. The bath robes were there but one of them had several holes, not at all acceptable at the rate we were paying (at any rate!!!!!). Bottled water should have been included daily. It was available in the mini-bar but at the rate we paid--it should have been included. Would have been a nice touch!!! ... We have stayed at many, mant other chateaus throughout France for a far better rate. ... Yes, that the restaurant is not opened daily for dinner and there isn't much to offer in the town--village. ... A lovely very old chateau ready for a new owner to invest money in to bring it up to the standards offered by other places we have visited, but the charm was there!!!!
