Although we do not run a half board or full board system, you will have the possibility to have breakfast in the hotel premises. Our breakfast is served either in the breakfast room, next to reception hall, or outside in the patio as soon as the weather allows it. For our guests that would be willing to connect to the Internet during their stay, we have an Internet point in the property. |
We also have a WiFi spot where our clients can connect directly from their PCs. Parking in the historical center of Arles is a big problem. Not at Hotel Sainte Trophime: we have a private garage with a common carrier that will take in charge your car. |
Museums, theater, restaurants, shopping facilities, banks...Everything is within walking distance! Arles is praised for the wealth of its Roman and Romanesque heritage. Most of the monuments of the city, such as the cloister of St Trophime just nearby, or the Roman Theatre and the Roman Amphitheatre, are listed by Unesco as world heritage monuments. City of festivals, art, and culture, Arles has always attracted artists. Van Gogh, Gaugain and Picasso are among those who stayed in the city. Picasso was inspired by the Arles bullfight to do two paintings and 57 drawings. In an effort to retrieve the source of this inspiration, one should assist to the Arles Easter Feria, held in the bullrings from the 14 to the 17 April. Arles is also a center of photography. Each summer the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie brings many visitors. Around Arles you will also find diverse touristy attractions, such as the Camargue National Park, the historical Abbaye de Montmajour (at 5 km), the village of Les Baux de Provence (at 20 km), the olive-growing Baux Valley (at 15 km), the capital for the Gypsy people "Les Saintes Maries de la Mer" and its beaches (at 35 km) and the salt-growing village "Salins de Giraud". Nīmes (at 30 km), Avignon (40 km) and Marseille (80 km) are bigger cities worth anyhow the visit. |
