 "Une Chambre à Eygalières" is one of the most typical Provençal villages perched on the summit of a small hill in the heart of the "Alpilles". The village is surrounded by a beautiful countryside made of lavender fields, olive groves and wineyards. It is a 15 min. drive to St. Rémy de Provence and 20 min. to Avignon. |
Coming by Plane+Car from Marseille Provence airport:
From Marseille follow for "Marignane, Fos-sur-Mer, Martigues, Lyon, Aix-en-Provence, Arnavaux (Les), Saint-Antoine" on A7 Highway. Close to Salon-de-Provence take the A7/E714 towards "Sénas, Cavaillon, Avignon, Lyon" and drive for 14 km. Exit at Sénas (n. 26) and turn right taking the N7 up to Orgon (8,5 km). Drive all straight on up to a roundabout: take the 3rd road (calles D24B)and drive for 6 km in direction St. Rémy de Provence. You will find a roundabout, take the first exit (Rue De La République) and you will arrive in Eygalieres. Once in the centre take the rise on your left, you will find a small roundabout and the B&B on your left hand-side in a panoramic location overlooking the village.
Coming by Car from Avignon:
In Avignon there are the nearest railway station and airport. Avignon airport is connected with many important airports such as Paris Orly, Bordeaux, London City, Seville and Strasbourg. From Avigon take N7 for 7 km in direction Salon de Provence. After approx. 15 km you will find the village of Saint-Andiol and the roadsigns for Eygalieres. Turn right onto "Chemin De La Liberté/D24" and continue on D24 for 5 km. Turn right onto Route De La Gare/D74A (called also Route Jean Moulin)for 3 km and you will arrive right at the B&B (you will find it on your left hand-side). |
