Bordeaux, in the south-west of France, is famous for its many quays where the bustle of the city used to be, full of merchants and boats going around bringing and taking away goods. One of these busy quaysides was Chartons, placed only a few blocks from the property, on the bank of the river Garonne: it was named after a the Chartreux Convent, a building from the 14th century, and later it developed into one of Bordeaux most visited quarters. Appart`Valley Chartons Colbert was built in 2005 and comprises 79 apartments that can accommodate from 1 to 4 people. |
Even though they have complete kitchenettes where to prepare your own meals at any time, the inn offers, for an extra cost, continental breakfast served at a special room.
Other services are provided to guests, such as automatic laundry, a reception desk and car park. There is also a conference room for up to 50 people, an ideal retreat for work meeting only 3 hours from Paris (taking the TGV trains that leave you off at Saint Jean Station). |
