How To Reach Us

By plane: The airport that mainly serves Bordeaux is Mérignac, placed 20 kilometres from the property: this terminal welcomes flights from all over Europe and other cities in France on a daily basis, therefore it will be really easy to find a connection to this destiny. Unless you rent a car, Saint Jean central station can be reached by shuttle buses in only 40 minutes.

By car: Once you leave Mérignac airport, turn right into A630/E05 highway towards "Angoulême/ Nantes/ Paris" and pass the towns of Le Haillan, Eysines and Bruges before getting off at Exit 4C "Bordeaux Centre/ Centre Routier". Drive in the direction "Bordeaux Centre/ Bordeaux Bacalan" and you will arrive in Bordeaux. Continue along Boulevard Aliénor d`Aquitaine, take your left at Rue Lucien Faure and your right at Cours Louis Fargue. A while ahead, turn left into Rue Prunier, again in Cours Balguerie-Stuttenberg and finally, right into Allée Stendhal. At the end of the street you will come to Place Paul Avisseau and the Appart`Valley Chartons Colbert appears on the left of the square. (This journey will take you around 20 minutes)

If you are coming from Paris or La Rochelle, take direction "Merignac" on highway A10 and get off at the exit signalled as "Bordeaux-Lac". Drive towards "Centre Ville", turn right into Cours Louis Fargue and then follow the directions already described. (Bear in mind that Paris is 560 kilometres far from the Appart, a drive that could take around 5 hours and a half)

By train: Saint Jean railway station in Bordeaux can be reached in only 3 hours from Paris on the TGV lines. In addition to this, there are regional trains coming from Arcachon, Bayonne and Pau. From the station, you can drive to the hotel (a 15 minutes drive) or take line C of the tramway up to Place des Quinconces; there, get on bus number 1 up to the stop "Medoc". Afterwards walk along Rue Poyenne, turn left in Rue Andre Darbon and you will come to Place Paul Avisseau.

If you arrive at Merignac airport, take the Shuttle buses that leave every 45 minutes to Saint Jean station: this journey takes around 30 to 45 minutes.
